Sports

All rounded education is crucial for holistic development of the students. MSIT keeps its students productively engaged in a vibrant environment by concocting the right mix of work and play in their everyday activities. A large grassy playground in the campus has all the facilities for outdoor and indoor games. Inter-colleges sports tournament of indoor and outdoor games such as volleyball, cricket, football, chess, badminton, table tennis, kabaddi and various athletic events are organized throughout the year.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Apart from curriculum, our students actively participate in various technical and non technical events organized at intra and inter college level. This gives them an occasion to augment their personality and communication skills to utilize their full potential. To develop over all personality of the students, MSIT encourages its budding engineers to participate in co curricular activities such as G.K. Competition, Debates, Quizzes, Picnics, outing and excursions.

MSIT has been regularly participating in GGSIPU annual cultural fest Anugoonj and our students have been awarded medals and prizes every year.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Outdoor and Indoor Sports Facilities: Every student is encouraged to take active part in at least one outdoor activity. MSIT has set up facilities/grounds for Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom, etc., and league matches are encouraged. We are also planning an inter-college sports tournaments to develop a spirit of healthy competition.

Gymnasium: In order to ensure a sound body and mind, students are given special attention on health and fitness. A modern gym, with all the latest gadgets has been set up in the hostel. While games, sports and athletics directly contribute to physical development of students, other co-curricular activities also indirectly contribute to it.

These activities provide a useful channel for the growth and development of the body.
