Training & Placement cell of the institute plays a vital role in shaping the career of engineering students and to mould them to become young corporate leaders through career counselling, grooming, industrial coordination and providing ample opportunities to students to participate in the on campus/ off campus recruitment drives of reputed companies.

Mahaveer Swami Institute of Technology (MSIT) maintains a separate training & placement cell .The main emphasis remains on grooming of the students by arranging seminars/workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits etc to familiarize them about the functioning of various industries. Also the students of 2nd & 3rd year are suitably guided and facilitated in attending 6 weeks summer internship after their 4th& 6th semester exams as part of the university curriculum.

Career counselling is also an important activity through which the students are suitably guided about various career options available so that their efforts are focused to get success in the areas suitable for them.

The department remains in regular contact with the industries in different sectors and strives hard to provide ample opportunities to the students for their placement through their participation in in-campus/off-campus recruitment processes of the reputed companies. Simultaneously, efforts are also made to prepare and groom the students by conducting mock tests, mock interviews, group discussions & resume writing etc. so that they can face the recruitment process of the companies with confidence and achieve success.
