 BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION 2017  

The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated at Mahavir Swami Institute of Technology with great enthusiasm. A special program was held on the occasion under the guidance of Convener- Cultural Committee Ms. Poonam (Assistant Professor) by organizing various cultural programs at the college to mark the festival of spring. The Basant Panchami was celebrated by dressing up in various shades of yellow. On the occasion, college Director-Principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar and all staff members were presented and they all wished the students on this occasion.

 Republic Day  

The MVSIT College celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school, and many activities were planned in the institution premises. The college echoed with patriotic fervor as the students drew scenes of Republic Day celebrations, sang patriotic songs, and even wore tricoloured clothes to mark the occasion.

  Holi Celebration

Students on 10.03.2017 Friday celebrated Holi at the college campus covering each other with dry colored powders as part of the ‘Holi Milan’ function organized by the institution. The students, in their zeal for the festival, did not spare college Director-Principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar, pouring paints on him all in the spirit of fun. The festivity also included a dance competition with Holi songs as its theme with groups of students participating in it. Dr. Sanjay Kumar sent his wishes to all the students saying events like this were a real morale booster for the students who must understand the spirit of Holi for an all-rounded personality development.

  Nukkad Natak

An  NUKKAD NATAK event was held on 9th of March, 2017, organized by Open Air Theatre of Bhagwan Mahavir College of Engineering and Technology.The results for the event are-First prize winners are-ANKIT and group, Second prize holders are-MOKSHITA and group and the third position was acquired by RAMANDEEP and group. We wish these three groups our heartiest congratulations!! Thank you all for making this event successful!!

Best Out of Waste Competition

This event was held on 06/02/2017. This activity helped to enhance not only creativity and presentation skills but also helped the students to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them. The program began with the formation of teams, for enhancing the team spirit in the students. While working Ms.Poonam Jakhar and her cultural committee members guided the students over how to use the waste material available in college. Students were engaged in handicrafts using a plastic bottle, sticks, newspapers, fused bulb, bottle cap and so on during the ‘Best out of waste’ competition. They created Pen Stand, Flower vase, Jewellery box, Robot, Patanjali slippers, Ship showing their college life journey and much more. Students actively participated in the event.

MVSIT & BMCEM students make the best use of waste on 06/02/2017. 1st position secured by MVSIT (CSE 2nd year students). They made a working bobble head toy. 2nd position secured by two teams-MVSIT (CSE 2nd year students) & (ME 2nd year) and 3rd position also secured by two teams-MVSIT (CSE 3rd year students) & (ME 3rd-year Students).All the beautiful handicrafts made by our students have been displayed in Director’s office

Academic Excellence Awards

MVSIT & BMCEM celebrated excellence award function LAURELS on 20/04/2017.The Honorable Professor (Dr.) S.K. Garg Pro-vice Chancellor, DTU awarded students with a certificate of merit with trophies. Parents were also invited with their wards to be the part of this award function. Professor (Dr.) S.K. Garg congratulated and motivated students with their valuable words. Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar presented a memento and shawl to Professor (Dr.) S.K. Garg to be part of this function.
